Let’s talk about LinkedIn… 

A recent client was awarded the top voice badge on the channel (if you don’t know, it is like the blue tick of Instagram before it could be bought). 

But this got me thinking, what makes for a “good” LinkedIn presence? I share 3 things (the 3 C’s) I think makes a personal brand work on LinkedIn. 

Hate the idea of being on LinkedIn? So did the client who is now a top voice, but in saying that. You never have to do anything you don’t want to.

Want to be seen by more people? Struggle to grow an audience on social media? 

What about being in other people’s spaces? 

Earned media is a great way to expand your reach and tap into an already engaged audience. 

So why not start with podcasting? Pitch podcasts and start being seen (and heard) by an aligned community. 

There is a lot of marketing jargon out there. One I heard recently as a discussion at a conference was “lo-fi and hi-fi” content. 

So let’s talk about it. I want to share with you when you can create lo-fi content and when to create hi-fi and how to create a content strategy for both.

When we think about Public Relations, we might often think media, right? Getting in the paper, on TV and the like! BUT PR is more than just media. It is about getting visibility for you and your business on various online (and offline) channels. 

Ghosting your email list? It is one of those tasks you know you need to do and you feel guilty every time you think about it. 

No more, it stops here. When doing research it was found that at least 50.7% of the people from this study were buying something from a marketing email monthly.

Whether you like it or not, you can’t deny the power of coming together with the intent to connect, add value and see each other grow.
