We created a 6-month retainer offering for you below, with a breakdown by month detailing the key focus and deliverables, so you can understand the full process of how we work with small businesses and entrepreneurs with their content marketing:

After we have a conversation about what you need re-support from us, we will recommend a content strategy session. The price of the session will come from the cost of the first month of our retainer service. After this session, it will allow me to develop a proposal that is tailored to your business and your needs (you will be given three options to choose from). Once you have accepted and chosen your option, I will begin working on the execution of this content. This is where most agencies will finish. They will meet with you monthly (maybe) to discuss any stats and edits to the work (like we do as well). But there will be no extra support.
This is where we are changing it up. This is phase 0… read about each other phase of our work together.

This is what we call “research”: working on connecting with your audience, doing the research, setting the goals and laying the foundations. We also work out how to work well as a team and connect with the right channels for your business.

This is what we call “building the process”: this is about building the systems and processes to continue to support our journey together. We will work on ways we can expand your reach online, build the systems you need and review the work we have been doing.

What happens after the 6 months? If you want to continue (which we recommend, the longer, the better for results), we go back through the process again. Building your content marketing up to be stronger and stronger. So we review the strategy, make edits and then we go back to Phase 1 working to stage 3 (again). We work in 6 monthly cycles for as long as you want us to!

While we will have our business as usual, we will be working on strategic thinking. As your strategist, we will be project managing each phase of the process from connect, create and cultivate. This will be done through our project management platform.
Each month we will catch up to go over the stats, the plans and reflect on each phase of the strategy.

Content marketing is holistic. Social media is just social media. So when you are looking for support, we always recommend going with a content marketing agency over a social media manager. Remember, they just focus on one area of content marketing. A content marketer looks at the whole picture and how everything can work together to promote your business. Also, often, social media managers are more VAs and executors, they don’t help with strategy (well, not always).

We communicate with our clients through WhatsApp regularly (in between meetings) as well as email (for anything that needs to be documented.
We also offer monthly 60 minute meetings with our clients to check in. But consistent communication happens on WhatsApp.

Once you book a call you will be given a few questions to answer (in a form). Those questions will be sent to us so we can do some pre-call research. Then you will receive some reminder emails - NOTE: we will mention the form again just in case you don’t fill it in, but if you have done so, ignore this. We did 3 month retainer work, so a minimum of 3 months work with us. What we have found is 3 months is not enough time to really see impact or results. Usually a lot of our clients work with us for an average of 12 + months. We know once you commit to the work, the impact will come. While 6 months seems like a long time, you will work with us longer because outsourcing is a big time saver. If you have concerns, we can discuss options.
